简介

罗伯特·摩根医生因为多年前在中美洲研究细菌时获得了奇迹般的免疫力，成为那场肆虐全球的瘟疫的唯一幸存者。现在他孤身一人……或许如此。每当夜幕降临，瘟疫的受害者们开始从坟墓中爬出，一群来自地狱的嗜血亡灵军团来到医生的家中，向他寻求报复！但幸好，只要天一亮，他们就会沉睡。于是他趁着晴天把尸体收拾起来，然后搬到郊外焚化。日子就这样一天天过去，尸体的数量却丝毫没有减少。就在医生陷入忧郁的时候，他发现了一个令他吃惊的消息：这世上还有其他人活着！但他们也面临着活死人的威胁。这样，医生不但要救自己的命，还要保护其他群体的人，弥补自己之前犯下的罪孽……

这部片子其实比《活死人之夜》还要早！
