简介

山东小伙子马永真（陈观泰 饰）虽然拳脚功夫了得，但因为名不见经传，初到旧上海只能凭着过人的力气当苦力。因为生性善良，马永真在路上遇到坎坷的事情都会拔剑相助，让某歌星（李静 饰）暗暗喜欢上了他，并因此和风流倜傥、武艺高强的上海黑帮老大谭思（蒋大为 饰）成为好友和兄弟。

因为羡慕谭思的成就，马永真决定用自己的拳脚闯出一片天地，并渐渐如愿以偿。可惜世事艰险，他没想到随着地盘逐渐扩大，他和谭思竟然成了杨老板的眼中钉。不久，他亲眼目睹谭思被杨老板杀害，决心为谭思报仇。然而，他的大义和功夫却无法改变游戏规则。
